Issue/Observation
Replicated Datastore had an additional vmdk for a Virtual Machine which was on non-replicated datastore. It didn’t display in Protection Group (obviously as it didn’t find vmx file )and also SRM didn’t throw up any Error of any issues/misconfiguration until we ran Test Recovery then it threw following Error that’s when we realized that we have an additional vmdk in a datastore. I have also put in a request for feature as well
Virtual machines \”ABC\” that are not protected by this protection group use datastores \”XXX\” that are in this protection group

Apologies for late response, workaround we did was to migrate the particular disk to another non replicated datastore
